Softsert's 12 mm soft rubber cup supports floppy soft lenses securely and a light touch is all that's needed to gently apply the lens to your eye. This inserter fits on your fingertip regardless of finger size or long nails. If your problem is only with lens insertion, this is what you need and it's still the best soft lens applicator on the market.
Softsert+plus Remover/Applicator:
SoftsertR +plus...removal: Unlike fingers, you squeeze to open SoftsertR+plus and relax to close. By squeezing you open the 2 halves of the cup. You remove your lenses by placing the 2 open halves of the cup against the lower half of the soft lens. Relax the tension and the 2 cup halves "gently" come together to automatically remove your lens. Many medical instruments use this reverse-action technology. Refer to Figs. 1&2 in 2nd photo below. application: This same device can also apply your lens and is perfect for individuals with small eyes as its oval shaped cup automatically reduces the size of the lens during application...a feature unique among inserters.
