You are bidding on used stunning looking VINTAGE AMERICAN OPTICAL BLACK THICK 50[]26 WAYFARER EYEGLASS FRAMES in excellent condition as compared to their age. Please see pictures for details & makings. The frame measures approx 5 1/4" across/wide from hinge to hinge & length of temple is approx 5 1/4 ". The inner surface of both ear sides are engraved with AO 4 1/2 - 5 3/4 & rear side of frame is engraved with 50[]26. The back side of frame by the left ear side is also engraved with number 44. The overall condition of frames look great, hinges are tight, ear sides are straight/aligned & it's free of any cracks/bends etc. The prescription of existing lenses appears to be -0.25 +2.50 as labelled but I am not sure if this is correct.
